3,000 € Donation for the "Bunte Kreis Allgäu

Also this year it is a very special concern for us to support the valuable work of the Bunte Kreis Allgäu. Like last year, the check for 3.000€ could be received personally by Mrs. Müller-Hoorens. Mrs. Gabriella Sontheim, member of the management of Sontheim Industrie Elektronik presented the check at our headquarters in Kempten. During the presentation, Mrs. Müller-Hoorens emphasized the importance of constant donations for the financial security of the organization, two thirds of whose work for families with sick children is financed by donations.

The non-profit organization Bunter Kreis Allgäu e.V. has been supporting regional families with children who have serious, chronic or life-limiting illnesses or who are born extremely prematurely since 2000. The employees of the association (social pedagogues, pediatric nurses, nutritionist, psychologist and pastoral counselor) offer their support in the context of aftercare. They help, advise and train to prepare and facilitate care at home. This helps the affected families cope better with the complex and difficult demands. Regular visits at home provide security and promote competence in dealing with the sick child. This help is free of charge for those affected. Families who experience financial hardship as a result of their child's illness are helped by the association through a social fund. Self-help groups organized by parents use the premises in the aftercare center for regular group meetings.
