SAE International is a global asso­ci­ation of engine­ers and tech­nical special­ists from the aero­space, auto­motive and com­mer­cial ve­hicle indus­tries. Its core compe­tence is the develop­ment of voluntary consensus standards.

The VDMA primarily represents medium-sized com­panies in the cap­i­tal goods industry and is the largest industrial asso­ci­ation in Europe.
