Description
Master module and CAN interfaces
The master module forms the basis of the modular module and is necessary in every constellation. The entire IO system is controlled by an integrated microcontroller. 16 digital outputs, 16 digital inputs, two analog outputs and two analog inputs are already integrated. The module has a status LED display to show the status and switching states of the digital IOs. As interfaces for the data exchange, the module has two RJ45 sockets for the CAN interface, which enables a simple and fast connection. The module ID and baud rate of the CAN fieldbus can be conveniently set via DIP switches.
Maximum flexibility through individual expansion options
Up to six IO modules can be connected via an extension interface as required. The design of the respective modules can be selected as required. The addressing of the extension modules is carried out automatically and the master module recognizes the connected module and the addressing. Currently, a motor module, analog module, digital module or temperature module are available as expansion options.
Robust connection technology
The phoenix clamps used ensure a simple and extremely robust connection, which in combination with the robust aluminium housing makes the module very resistant and process-safe.
